The challenge will take place in four phases:
15 June – 5 October 2023 | submission of proposals |
5 – 25 October 2023 | pre-selection |
25 October 2023 | announcement of the finalists |
14 November 2023 | closing event with final presentations and the announcement of the challenge winner |
The NATO Innovation Challenge is a competition open to individuals, groups, academia and other participants from NATO member states, seeking innovative solutions in a variety of areas relevant to military development.
Organised by the Innovation Hub of the Allied Command Transformation since 2017, the NATO Innovation Challenge series is an idea-generation process designed to rapidly and cost-effectively address common challenges faced by the Alliance and its member states. It is a process open to all NATO Member States to foster the development of future capabilities, innovate in the development of solutions, maintain NATO's technological edge, engage with different actors, and to network and collaborate.
Application details and the challenge scenario are available on the event's official website.
