Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement refers to the Slovenian Armed Forces website. The content administrator is the Public Affairs Section and the technical administrator Agenda d.o.o.
When publishing content on the SAF website, we strive to make it more user-friendly and as accessible as possible to people with certain limitations and special needs, both unassisted and through the use of assistive technology (such as screen readers, etc.) To this end, our websites are systemically accessible on a variety of devices and automatically adapt to the screen size by rearranging the content (computers, tablets, mobile phones), and are accessible with a variety of browsers and operating systems. Wherever possible, we aim to make the texts easy to read and understand, so that they are accessible to as wide a range of users as possible.
Level of compliance and adaptation of content to accessibility requirements
The SAF website is currently partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to its disproportionate burden. Published content that does not fully comply with the accessibility requirements of the law includes, for example, scanned documents in PDF format, various complex statistical tables with data, but no textual material (images, audio, video) within texts or individual web pages.
The presentational SAF website meets all the required criteria for website accessibility under the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. It can be accessed at the following link: www.gov.si/teme/slovenska-vojska/. The content on www.slovenskavojska.si is created as an additional form of press releases to complement the presentational website of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces as a body within the Ministry of Defence at gov.si.
We will make every effort to adapt the content of this website as much as possible to vulnerable user groups and provide them with a positive user experience.
