Lieutenant General Glavaš hosts Chief of the Defence Staff of the Hungarian Defence Forces

On Tuesday, 26 August, Lieutenant General Robert Glavaš, Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, hosted an official visit by General Gábor Böröndi, Chief of the Defence Staff of the Hungarian Defence Forces. The two leaders focused their discussions on enhancing military cooperation between the two armed forces, with particular emphasis on mountain warfare training. The delegations also addressed the security situation in the Balkan region.

Later during the visit, General Böröndi met with Boštjan Pavlin, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.

General Böröndi also toured the Edvard Peperko Barracks in Ljubljana, where he was introduced to the simulation center and related systems — key milestones in the modernization of training within the Slovenian Armed Forces and in maintaining combat readiness.

During his visit, General Böröndi additionally visited Guardiaris, a company collaborating with the Slovenian Armed Forces on multiple projects.
