The School provides military professional education and training for Slovenian Armed Forces officers.
Programme
The officer candidate education and training programme is divided into three parts. Its overall duration is 12 months.
Part 1: Basic military professional education and training. Duration: 6 months.
Part 2: Specialist education and training for a platoon commander in different branches of the Slovenian Armed Forces.
Part 3: Work experience placements in the units of the Slovenian Armed Forces where officer candidates acquire practical experience for the work with platoons. The duration of placements is one month.
Upon successfully completing the programme, officer candidates are promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant and detailed to a Slovenian Armed Forces unit.
