The school provides military professional education and training for NCO candidates, non-commissioned officers and junior uniformed specialists of the Slovenian Armed Forces.
Programmes
Basic military professional education and training of NCO candidates
Candidates sent to the basic course must first undergo a selection procedure.
Upon successful completion training, NCO candidates are promoted to the rank of Sergeant and detailed to a Slovenian Armed Forces unit.

Higher education programme with a military module
The programme of the Vocational College of Traffic and Transport Maribor is designed as a modular programme. Candidates acquire civil education at the Vocational College of Traffic and Transport and military skills at the Doctrine, Development, Education and Training Command. Upon successfully completing the programme, candidates are awarded a publicly recognised certificate.
