The 11th Signal Battalion is directly subordinated to the Force Command and ensures the operation of fixed and mobile communication and information systems of the Slovenian Armed Forces, as well as controls and manages communication and information systems at the strategic and operational levels.

Tasks
- Participate in the training of active component soldiers, NCOs and officers.
- Provide and maintain signals and information systems.
- Control, manage and maintain communication and information systems.
- Maintain material and technical assets at maintenance levels I and II.
The Battalion operates from seven peacetime locations and maintains signals systems in over 30 locations throughout the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
