The Battalion is attached to the Air Defence and Aviation Brigade. It is responsible for the protection of airspace and provides air defence to units and key facilities of special importance to defence.

Tasks

-    Provide combat preparedness.
-    Provide the protection of Slovenian airspace, critical facilities and units of the Slovenian Armed Forces.
