The Battalion is directly subordinated to the Force Command and carries out police tasks in accordance with its legal authority.

The Command, two companies and the HQ Logistics Platoon are based in Ljubljana. There is one company in Postojna and one in Maribor.

Tasks

-    Attend to military order and discipline in the Slovenian Armed Forces and the security of military traffic.
-    Prevent and identify criminal offences in the Slovenian Armed Forces and protect the facilities and areas of special importance to defence.
