The Battalion is attached to the Air Defence and Aviation Brigade. It provides air support to the units of the Slovenian Armed Forces and performs protection, rescue and relief tasks on difficult terrains in the event of natural and other disasters.

Tasks

-Provide air support to the Slovenian Armed Forces units.
-Provide training for pilots and technical staff.
