The Base is attached to the Air Defence and Aviation Brigade. It provides logistic support to the aviation units of the Slovenian Armed Forces at the Cerklje ob Krki Military Airport and at the military part of the Jože Pučnik airport at Brnik.

Tasks

-    Provide flight support.
-    Ensure the operation of communications, information and navigation systems at the airport.
-    Ensure the operation of the airport
-    Provide security to and supervise all entries into the area of the Cerklje ob Krki Military Airport, and military part of the Jože Pučnik Airport at Brnik.
-    Provide logistic support to the units based at the Crklje ob Krki Military Post.
-    Provide host nation support in relation to aviation activities for NATO purposes.
