The unit is directly subordinated to the Force Command, and its purpose is to perform special operations. It is a specially equipped and trained unit that can operate independently or in cooperation with other units of the Slovenian Armed Forces or within the Alliance.
Tasks
- Provide training for members of other units of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the area of common and specialist subject matter related to operations units.
- Joint training with comparable units of NATO member states.
- Perform counter-sabotage and counter-terrorist operations, deep reconnaissance, military intelligence operations, as well as search and rescue tasks.
