The Battalion is attached to the 72nd Brigade and is trained for combat operations in tank-accessible terrains.

Tasks

The main task of the Battalion is to engage in combat within tactical and joint tactical units of the Slovenian Armed Forces against adversary armoured-mechanised units. The entire Battalion or its individual parts can be integrated into combat operations of the Alliance.
