Instructions to Authors

The editorial board of the Contemporary Military Challenges kindly invites all interested parties professionally involved in the armed forces and defence structures, as well as others, to submit articles for publication throughout 2013.

Potential authors should take into account Annex B of the 2013 – 2014 Work Programme of the Editorial Board (http://www.slovenskavojska.si/en/publications/contemporary-military-challenges/editorial-board-and-organizational-documents), which defines the approximate topics and deadlines for the publication of individual issues to help you organise and begin to prepare articles on time.
In order to publish an article in a certain issue, it has to be submitted approximately four weeks prior to the publication (http://www.slovenskavojska.si/en/publications/contemporary-military-challenges/invitation-to-authors ), which simplifies work coordination among the author, the editorial board and the referees.

Referee procedure

The referee procedure ensures that all articles published in the Contemporary Military Challenges abide by Slovenian standards and the rules of good writing. The procedure is anonymous a standard form is filled in. A referee receives an article without the indication of the author and vice versa. Normally, the referee procedure is carried out by two referees. However, if their opinions differ, a third referee is included.
