Members of the Sierra company operating within the 36th Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) KFOR contingent carried out a synchronised patrol with members of the Serbian Armed Forces. The patrol was also attended by KFOR Deputy Commander Brigadier General Janos Csombok.
The Hungarian General was received by SAF Contingent Commander Lieutenant Colonel Gregor Hafner who in cooperation with his Austrian colleague from Multinational Battle Group West presented to Brigadier General Csombok the entire course of activities.
During the patrol, which was carried out in the hilly area north of the Istok municipality on the Serbian border, no suspicious activities were identified.
Brigadier General Janos Csombok commended the Slovenian contingent on its performance and escorted it into the final part of its eight-month deployment by characterising it as one of the best units in the area of operations.
