Deputy Chief of the General Staff Brigadier General Robert Glavaš attends the U.S. – Adriatic Charter Conference in Albania
On Wednesday, 25 September, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Robert Glavaš and Force Commander, Sergeant Major Franjo Cesar, attended the U.S. - Adriatic Charter (A-5) Chiefs of Defence Conference in Durres, Albania.
At the conference, the participants reviewed the conclusions of the previous conference, analysed joint efforts to achieve partnership goals and capabilities, and deepened bilateral cooperation among the countries. From the point of view of each Member State of the Adriatic Charter, the meeting was important for the exchange of views and perspectives, the development of key military capabilities in the Alliance, and possible joint participation in crisis response operations as well as cooperation in the field of disaster relief and other activities contributing to the coordinated joint effort of Member States.
On the margins of the conference, Brigadier Glavaš met with Deputy Commander, United States European Command, Lieutenant General Stephen M. Twitty.
On Tuesday, 24 September, Sergeant Major Cesar attended a conference on further cooperation of the NCO in the region.
