7.62 mm Ultima Ratio Commando Sniper Rifle

The sniper rifle of this type is a basic sniper weapon at a platoon level. It is a single-shot repeating weapon (bolt action). The barrel is free floating and placed into an aluminum frame. The barrel can be rapidly and easily replaced with an integrated silencer. The stock is folding and adjustable. The rifle is fed by 10 round magazines and is characterized by high accuracy and durability when used in extreme conditions.

The weapon is produced by a French manufacturer PGM Precision under the auspices of the Belgian group FN Herstal.

Weapons used by the Slovenian Armed Forces are fitted with an optical sighting mechanism produced by a German manufacturer Schmidt&Bender, and night fibre optics produced by a Norwegian manufacturer Simrad.
